En Fuego, Del Mar

Del Mar's original restaurant, La Tienda (circa 1930), hosted Del Mar race track elites and Hollywood movie stars. El Pescador, with its famous chowder and fish sandwiches, was a Del Mar landmark throughout the '70s, and Baja Grill continued that popularity we still enjoy today.

John Wingate opened the doors of En Fuego in July 1995 - appropriately enough - on Opening Day at the Track; thus making the most popular day of the year in Del Mar a proud anniversary.

This restaurant locale has long been known for serving traditional Mexican dishes and fresh seafood. With the help of Chef Todd Castner, we have been able to add to that legacy; our specials exemplify "South of the Border" cuisine from Mexico through South America.

Before you leave, please take a stroll around the restaurant; you'll see we've done a lot to preserve some of Del Mar's history while expanding to meet your demands for the future. www.enfuegodelmar.signonsandiego.com/1.html
